The Milford Recreation is proud to announce our Field Hockey Clinic which will take place on July 29th, July 30th, & July 31st.
The will be three different sessions.
The first session is for Grades 5-8, which will take place on 7/29 & 7/30 from 4pm-6pm.
The second session is for Grades 9-12, which will take place on 7/29 & 7/30 from 6:15pm-8:15pm.
The last session is for Grades K-4 and they will meet on 7/31 from 5pm-7pm.
This clinic will be a great introduction to Field Hockey and will work on fundamentals such as dribbling, passing and receiving, and defensive positioning along with drills and fun games!
Instructors
Kelli Jacobson is a former four-year starter for the University of New Haven field hockey team, where she served as a two-year captain. A standout both on and off the field, Kelli earned numerous honors throughout her collegiate career, including Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team as a senior and Third Team recognition earlier in her career. She was also named to the NE10 All-Academic Team and was recognized as a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Scholar of Distinction for three consecutive years, along with earning Academic Squad honors all four years. Before her time at UNH, Kelli was a key player at North Branford High School.
Taylor Geaglone is a former stand out Division II former college player at the University of New Haven. Taylor is a Connecticut native who loves the game of field hockey and is looking to grow the game in Connecticut. Taylor played 5 years at the University of New Haven racking in All conference honors every year, wrapping up her career as an All American as well as the Defensive Player of the year for the NE10 conference. After graduation she was the Assistant Field Hockey Coach at Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio who plays in the NCAC NCAA Division III. Geaglone worked with the defensive unit at Kenyon.
