At Home Fitness Challenge

The Milford Recreation Department is sending a Challenge out to YOU!  For the month of December, we are encouraging children and adults of all ages to compete in our Fitness Challenge.  

We are go to challenge you to complete a series of exercises 2 times per week.  These exercises will include, Push ups, Pull ups, Body Weight Squats, Crunches, and Running/Walking.  

After completing the exercise, write down the number of reps for each exercise and the amount of time you ran/walked.

You will submit these numbers to the Recreation Department by sending them to the email: recdesk@milfordct.gov

The results will be recorded and progress will be shared with each individual and/or each household. 

This Challenge is based on the Honor System.  It is on you to be truthful and hold yourself accountable.

Finally, we will keep track of the total number of reps that the whole program has done.  We will send out an update weekly with the total number for each exercise.  

Exercises
  • Push Ups
  • Pull Ups
  • Body Weight Squats
  • Crunches
  • Running/Walking
  • Please do exercises at your own pace
  • Modifications to exercises are encouraged

Submission and Posting
  • Each participant or household will submit totals to recdesk@milfordct.gov on Tuesday and Thursdays.
  • A worksheet will be offered down below to help you keep track
  • Submissions will begin on Tuesday December 1st
  • Submissions will end on Thursday December 31st
  • Progress reports will be given to individual participants
  • The total number of reps completed by the entire program will be sent out and posted every Friday
