This open gym basketball activity is open to both men and women.  Age restrictions apply. This is "pick-up basketball" at it's best.  All participants must pre-register on line or in person at the Recreation Department.  Day-of registrations will only be accepted in person at the Recreation Main Office, they will NOT be accepted at the gymnasium.Breakfast Club (50+): 9:00a - 11:00a Ages 50 & OlderLunch Hour Basketball: 11:00a - 1:00p Ages 21 & OlderFor those who are 50 and over, the one registration fee allows you to participate in both programs.

5:30 PM - 8:30 PM    Youth Basketball Recreation League - Coaches Registration
The Milford Recreation Department Youth Basketball teams will practice once a week and play a game once a week throughout the winter. Depending on the league, games will be at the Parsons Gymnasium or West Shore Recreation. Practice locations will be given to coaches.Teams will also participate in the end of year playoffs at the end of the season.Leagues:Girls: 11U and 14UBoys: Grades 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 Game Days:All Girls games are on Mondays.All Boys games are on Thursdays or Fridays.Practice DaysAll Practices will be made by the coaches and will take place between Mon-Thur 2nd & 3rd Grade League (Refereed) - Both boys and girls leagues- All games will be played on Sundays at Parsons on 8 foot hoops.- Practice will be during the week between Mon-ThurThe registration fee is $170 per child for Milford residents.  This includes a  team shirt.There is a wait list option for non-residents to fill open roster positions. It's free to sign up for the wait list, if an available placement is determined the cost to play is $255.* If you do not know your team name please put "Free Agent"Team Placement.Boys 2nd, 3rd & 4th Grade will be placed on teams by school. (5th, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade teams are Grandfathered in)Girls 2nd & 3rd grade will be placed on teams by school.(11u & 14u Divisions are Grandfathered in)*If a school has more then 10 kids sign up for a certain Grade we will evenly seperate them into 2 teams.*Registration closes October 2, 2026.-------------------------------------------------------------High School Basketball - Registration is open on December 1, 2026.- Registration Closes - December 20, 2026.- 1st Game January 9, 2026- 8 Games plus Playoffs
