The Milford Recreation Department - Adult Pickleball Program will promote the game of pickleball to our community, provide social and competitive activities for all playing levels.  Milford Recreation Department - Adult Pickleball Program is simple  organized play in Milford, Connecticut. To join, please sign up through the Milford Recreation Department website at: www.milfordrecreation.com Fee: $25 for Residents Non Residents $100 The Program includes daily play. (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, & Saturday) (8AM-12PM) at Eisenhower Park Pickleball Courts. We will also be implementing Wednesday Nights from 6pm-10pm for the 2025 season. All eight (8) Courts will be reserved for MRPP play (unless otherwise noted by the Recreation staff). The Program Dates: April 2nd, 2025 to December 1st, 2025. The Milford Recreation Department has revamped its Adult Tennis Lessons for the upcoming 2024 season. We will again be offering top-notch instruction from our USPTA certified instructor, Dave Kardas, and his staff, however the classes have changed to better fit what you are looking for!!!ADULT BEGINNER TENNIS/ADVANCED BEGINNERSLearn to play tennis with our NEW Instant Tennis format!!! You will be playing within four weeks! We will teach you the forehand, backhand, volley and serve. You will also learn how to play both singles and doubles.LOW INTERMEDIATE/INTERMEDIATE TENNISYou will participate in lots of dynamic drills, play singles and double points as well as drills and exercises that help your technique as well as injury prevention.Please see below for dates and times. The Milford Recreation Department - Adult Pickleball Program will promote the game of pickleball to our community, provide social and competitive activities for all playing levels.  Milford Recreation Department - Adult Pickleball Program is simple  organized play in Milford, Connecticut. To join, please sign up through the Milford Recreation Department website at: www.milfordrecreation.com Fee: $25 for Residents Non Residents $100 The Program includes daily play. Our Tennis Instructor Dave Kardas will hold a multiple Tennis Camp this Summer.The camp will be Monday-Thursday with  rain/make ups held on Friday.Players will be divided into 3 age groups, Ages 6-8, 9-11, and 12-15.Minimum of 4 per age group Age groups and level divided on different courts.Players will work on skills for the forehand, back-hand, volley and serve with certain groups.  We will play lots of fun games as well as playing points (hitting back and forth).The camp will take place at Eisenhower Park from 9:30am-12:00pm daily.Please bring, water, a snack, and a tennis racket.
