Room17 Math
Join Room 17 for a week-long opportunity designed to give your child the brain boost they need to build confidence and fluency before the school year begins!
 
All children will have daily opportunities for individualized practice and support with grade level fact fluency strategies. Rising 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders will develop fluency strategies with addition and subtraction, while rising 4th, and 5th grade students will develop flexible strategies for multiplication and division.
 
Inside the classroom they will play games that build fluency while smiling. Sometimes students will roll a dice, spin a spinner or flip a card to generate the numbers to play friendly competitions. 
 
Outdoors, students they will use balls, frisbees, hula hoops, and sidewalk chalk to engage in active play with our version of games like Capture the Flag, volleyball, relay races and hopscotch.

Instructors
This week-long program will be facilitated by experienced certified elementary and Room 17 trained teacher(s). The max student to teacher ratio will be 14 :1. Local highschool student volunteers will support games with a smile!

General Information
This program is for rising 1st Graders-5th Graders.

The cost is $150.00

Will be held at Margaet Egan Center.

Last day for registration is August 8th.

A good ramp up for the start of the school year!

*Parents Must Sign an Authorized Pick-Up form and bring it on Monday 8/18*
