When school’s out—but you still need coverage—we’ve got you and your gamer covered. Our Winter Break Gamer’s Retreat offers the perfect blend of play, learning, and community in a safe, supervised space. Think of it as a mini-camp on holidays or “no-school” days: video games, creative challenges, off-screen fun, healthy gaming habits, and plenty of time to hang out with friends.

The Gaming Club at Affinity Esports brings together players of all skill levels who share a love for gaming, teamwork, and social connection. Whether you’re into fast-paced action, creative building, friendly competition, or just hanging out with others who enjoy games, this club offers a welcoming space to explore a wide variety of titles and build lasting friendships.

-Starts Monday, January 26th - Content Creation & Live Streaming (Ages 7-17) - Jan 26th to Feb 23rd
During this class, your child will have the opportunity to explore their creativity as they produce unique content. They will get an overview of hardware and software requirements, streaming platforms (such as Twitch and YouTube), audio, video editing, graphic design, and more. They will be able to configure their setup, get behind the camera and microphone, and share the final results online (or just with family and friends).

-Starts Tuesday, January 27th - Game Creation & Coding (Ages 7-17) - Jan 27th to Feb 24th
This class will require students to problem-solve, be creative, think critically, and hone basic computer skills to achieve their game creation goals. They will start by learning code basics through Scratch, the world's largest coding community and visual coding language for children, to create their own games. They will also have the opportunity to practice coding through a variety of fun challenges and coding courses in Minecraft Education Edition and Roblox.

Step into the world of pixel artistry and bring your unique characters to life! In this class, you'll design, outfit, and animate characters, creating everything from basic moves like running and jumping to complex sequences like victory, defeat, and attacks. By the end, participants will have digital stills and GIFs of their creations to share with friends and family. Whether you're a beginner or experienced artist, this class offers a fun, creative environment to enhance your skills.
