Acting Scene Study Workshop  with Kevin McCormick

Acting is back for 2024, try something new this year!!


Acting/Scene Study one night, 3-hour class
These 3-hour classes are designed to help students improve their overall acting skills all while having fun. Students will participate by doing scenes with other students in the class, monologues, cold reads and other mini-lessons.


This class will run on January 8th and 22nd and February 5th and 12th.

Each class is its own separate class, so you can sign up for one night, or as many nights as you would like.

Acting workshop sessions will run 5:30PM-8:30PM and take place on:
     Monday, January 8th
     Monday, January 22nd
     Monday, February 5th
     Monday, February 12th

Kevin McCormick Bio
Kevin McCormick is an accomplished television and film actor who presently has a recurring role on season 3 of CITY ON A HILL. He has recently had great roles in the movies I CARE A LOT and SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL. Kevin has also had recurring and guest star TV roles on the shows GOTHAM, CHICAGO PD, BLUE BLOODS, THE BLACKLIST and many more. Kevin started acting in the winter of 2007 when he was cast in a supporting role in the Boston based movie WHAT DOESNT KILL YOU alongside Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo. From there, Kevin began to take acting classes at BOSTON CASTING and CP CASTING and in 2010 began to work with his long-time acting coach JOCK MACDONALD at STRAEON ACTING STUDIOS (and still does). From there, Kevin signed with a top tier agent and management company in New York and is now represented In New York, Los Angeles and the Southeast United States.

Kevin spent 15 years as a middle school teacher and elementary and middle school assistant principal before resigning in 2011 to pursue his acting career full-time.
