Food Explorers Global Cuisine:
9am-12pm
Join us as we take young chefs on a hands-on culinary adventure around the world! Campers will explore bold flavors and new techniques as they make Egg Rolls, Personal Calzones, Curry Bowls with Naan, and Rice Paper Dumplings. It’s a delicious journey through global kitchens—no passport required! All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. 

Food Explorers From Scratch:
1pm-4pm
A hands-on camp where young chefs create delicious, made-from-scratch dishes! Campers will mix, roll, and shape their way through savory favorites like Mozzarella Breadsticks, Wonton Cups, Fresh Pasta, and Stuffed Flatbreads, all while learning essential kitchen techniques. It’s all about fresh ingredients, creative cooking, and the joy of making it all by hand. All recipes are nut-free and vegetarian but will contain dairy, eggs, and gluten. 




**“Food Explorers camps are half day (3 hour camps). While children are welcome to register for both AM and PM camps, Food Explorers instructors are unable to care for campers during the 12-1pm lunch break. Please organize childcare during this hour if children are registered for both camps.




Biography
Food Explorers hopes to ignite a passion for cooking and healthy food in kids through interactive cooking classes. Created by Registered Dietitian, Katie Shepherd, Food Explorers allows kids to explore food in a low-pressure, educational and fun environment.
