Milford Recreation Department has collaborated with Marlene Sanchez and the Camp Happiness staff to develop programs for children and young adults with special needs. These programs have been developed to provide children with special needs a fun, supportive and caring environment where they can socialize and participate in age appropriate activities. The Leadership team at Camp Happiness have put a lot of brainstorming to secure a good environment for all the participants. We have tried to keep each program as affordable as possible to the families so they can participate without financial hardships.

MAPs Drama: Spring Musical
We just can't wait for you to join us this spring! Our most popular club is back this spring for the FOURTH annual adaptive musical! This year’s Drama Club will perform Aladdin! This club is perfect for those looking to sing, dance, and perform on a big stage! Join our Whole New World!
$365 per participant - Participants will receive a costume, professional headshots in costume, commemorative drama club t-shirt and a video of our show!
All Ages 8-99 (post grads welcome!)

Auditions - Thursday, January 30th, 5:15-7:15 pm (When you enroll, you’ll be emailed a link to sign up for 10-minute audition time.)

MAPs Drama: Ensemble Club
There are no small roles, only short actors! This club is perfect for participants that are new to the stage and want to be part of the big show, but aren’t quite ready for the heavy rehearsal schedule that Drama Club comes with. Performers can expect to be in big scenes including musical numbers in ACT 1! Come join us and be a part of our ensemble!
Perfect for: those who have not participated in MAP Drama before, young performers/performers new to the stage, those looking to be part of something big but with less commitment!
Commitment: 1 day a week for 1 hour until the week of the show (see below)
Participants will receive a costume, professional headshots in costume, commemorative drama club t-shirt and avideo of our show!

Join us for silly songs, stories, and games, STEM challenges for little hands, playground time, and the best part making new friends! Join us for 2 hours every Saturday morning!

MAPs Spring: Gym Games (Sat)
Did your Camp Happiness camper love Gym Games this summer? Join us for Gym Games this spring!
Participants will join in on different games each week ((dodgeball, basketball, lawn games, and more!).
Participants will also work on social communication skills, team building, and making friends all while
having fun! This club is perfect for those that enjoy outdoor and indoor games, especially those during
summers Camp Happiness! Shout out to all you gym class heroes! We will be outside when weather permits so, be sure to dress for weather each day.
Led by Camp Happiness counselor Amanda and Bailey!
