Milford Recreation Department has collaborated with Marlene Sanchez and the Camp Happiness staff to develop programs for children and young adults with special needs. These programs have been developed to provide children with special needs a fun, supportive and caring environment where they can socialize and participate in age appropriate activities. The Leadership team at Camp Happiness have put a lot of brainstorming to secure a good environment for all the participants. We have tried to keep each program as affordable as possible to the families so they can participate without financial hardships.

MAPs Fall Arts & Crafts (Monday's)

Join Camp Happiness Art teacher, Miss Laura this fall with an 8-week arts and crafts club!! Each week, crafters will design, create, and construct with friends! Featuring seasonal and holiday themed crafts- the best way to do arts and crafts is with friends! Projects will be adapted for all participants and abilities. Participants should expect to get messy, wear clothes that can handle the mess!
8-week session, led by Laura and Amanda
$100 participant
Open to ages 5 and up! Post-grads and adults are welcome!

MAPs Fall Walking Club (Tuesday's)

Walk with Stephanie, Susan, Toddler Tino and Baby Alex! Rain or shine club! If we are impacted by weather, we will meet at the Milford Mall and walk indoors! Participants please wear comfortable shoes for walking. We will be
outside, please prepare by bringing water and wearing sunscreen/a hat.

MAPs Fall Busy Builders (Wednesday's)

Love Legos? Building? You’ll love this one!! Participants will practice social communication skills and work as a
group! This club is perfect for participants that enjoy building with a variety of tools and enjoy experimenting with their builds! Each week, we will participate in different building challenges using traditional and non-traditional building materials, and practice the skills engineers use on a daily basis, like working as a team and making our creations better.
An 8-week club with Miss Emily and Camp Happiness counselors Thao and Kayla!
$100 per participant
All Ages 6 and up!
Limited to 10 participants

MAPs Fall Cornhole League (Thursday's)

Join us for Cornhole League this fall! Our Lawn Games graduates have perfected their game so now it’s time to get competitive! Join alone or with a buddy and sign up for cornhole tournaments that stretch 6 weeks, and extreme cornhole! We can’t wait for you to join us!
**The last day, Oct 25, participants are invited to bring a teammate to Cornhole League. Participants are welcome to bring a family member or friend and will get to compete with their athlete in an epic tournament! Anyone else wishing to attend may also attend and join the cheering section!**

MAPs Fall Dance Fitness (Thursday's)

…5, 6, 7, 8! Stay moving this fall with our very popular Dance Fitness Club! Each week, Michelle, Danielle, and Sara will lead fast paced aerobic dances that will get bodies moving and grooving! Dance Fitness is all about getting a sweat on while having fun and moving your body- and with friends!! Please wear sneakers and bring water with you!

Join us for silly songs, stories, and games, STEM challenges for little hands, playground time, and the best part -
making new friends! Join us for 2 hours every Saturday morning!

$135 per participant ($17 per week!)
Ages 4 - 8

MAPs Fall Gym Games (Saturday's)

Did your Camp Happiness camper love Gym Games this summer? Join us for Gym Games this fall! Participants will join in on different games each week (dodgeball, basketball, lawn games, and more!).
Participants will also work on social communication skills, team building, and making friends all while having fun! This club is perfect for those that enjoy outdoor and indoor games, especially those during summers Camp Happiness! Shout out to all you gym class heroes! We will be outside when weather
permits so be sure to dress for the weather each day.
Led by Camp Happiness counselor Amanda and Bailey!

environment to build social skills and make new friends! Join us for an hour and a half every Saturday.
