This weekly Summer Playground Program includes daily activities and runs Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. rain or shine.
Sign in begins at 8:30am and we have late pick-up lasting until 4:30pm.
Daily activities include sports, games, arts & crafts, special event days and trips! We will be going to the movie theatre every week and other trips/visits are planned. The program will be held at two locations throughout the City of Milford. They are: Mathewson and Live Oaks School.
Parents may register for the one site that is most convenient for them until site maximums are met (115 Children per week). All registration begins March 9th, 2026 and please note that you are not considered registered until payment is received. You will receive an email confirmation when your payment is processed.
The program will cost $150 per week and includes one t-shirt.
Eligibility
This program is for Milford, Residents or taxpayers ages 6 - 12. Twelve-year-olds entering seventh grade are permitted. All twelve-year-olds must submit proof of grade with the registration form (a current report card will do). Those in or entering eighth grade are NOT permitted.
General Information
- Parents may register for any combination of weeks however it must be at the same location.
- The complete schedule and registration instructions are Parent handbook released June 1 online, by e-mail and in the Recreation Department.
- Parents are responsible for obtaining their own parent handbook and shall be held responsible for its contents.

Week #5 July 28th- Movies July 30th- Lake Compounce (extra fee)
Week #6 Aug 4th- Movies Aug 5-6 Affinity E-Sports (on site)
The fee for the Lake Compounce Trip will be $55.00. It will include the following:
-Transportation
-Pass into the Park
-Meal Ticket (redeem at the concession stand for an entree, side, fountain drink, and cookie for dessert)
