Summer Playground Program

This weekly Summer Playground Program includes daily activities and runs Monday thru Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. rain or shine. 

Sign in begins at 8:30am and we have late pick-up lasting until 5:30pm.

Daily activities include sports, games, arts & crafts, and special event days.  TRIPS are back in 2024!!!  We will be going to the movie theatre and the bowling alley. The program will be held at three locations throughout the City of Milford. They are: Mathewson, Live Oaks School, and West Shore Recreation.

Parents may register for the one site that is most convenient for them until site maximums are met (100 Children per week). All registration begins March 13, 2024 and please note that you are not considered registered until payment is received. You will receive an email confirmation when your payment is processed.

The camp will cost $150 per week and includes one t-shirt..

Eligibility
This program is for Milford Residents or taxpayers ages 6 - 12. Twelve-year-olds entering seventh grade are permitted. All twelve-year-olds must submit proof of grade with the registration form (a current report card will do). Those in or entering eighth grade are NOT permitted.

General Information
  • Parents may register for any combination of weeks however it must be at the same location.
  • The complete schedule and registration instructions are Parent handbook released June 1 online, by e-mail and in the Recreation Department.
  • Parents are responsible for obtaining their own parent handbook and shall be held responsible for its contents.
