Adult Slow Pitch Softball in Milford has a long history and is very popular with its residents. Softball is one of the most successful programs in the state and is recognized Nationally.

2024 Leagues Offered
Men's Recreation League (All Wood Bat):
- Monday A Division
- Monday B Division
- Wednesday A Division
- Wednesday B Division
Women's Recreation League:
- Tuesday
Women's "A" League:
- Tuesday
Men's Seniors:
- Over 50 Open League (Thursday)
- Over 62 League (Tuesday)
CO-ED Recreation League:
- "A" Division - This league will be comprised of teams that want to play a higher level of competition (Friday).
- "B" Division -  This league will be comprised of teams that want to play at a recreational/fun-based level (Friday).
*Men use wood bat

All leagues are open to residents and non residents.
Leagues run Mid-April - Early September (or finish).

Team Registration: ($325.00) will run February 1 - March 15, 2024 (sooner if league maximums are met). Coaches register/pay for their team's spot in the league.

Individual Registration: (no charge) for players will begin February 1, 2024. Players will register for each specific league they are in. Individuals must be affiliated with a team to register.
Registration Deadline for individual players: May 31, 2024 (the player/roster addition deadline date). 

Individual Player Registration Instructions:
- Players must have or create a free household account at www.milfordrecreation.com
- Players then register for each league that they are participating in.
- Register for each league you are playing by adding them to your cart.
- Once all of the leagues you are playing in are in your cart you can proceed to checkout.
- There is no fee associated with this registration.  If you checked out properly you will receive an emailed receipt/confirmation.

All teams must have a minimum of ten players registered. All players must be registered through their own household account through www.milfordrecreation.com to be eligible. 

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Each team is responsible for paying $35.00 cash, per game to the umpires.
- Each team is responsible for providing a set of bases, including a "safety first-base."
- Each Team is responsible for providing a new, regulation softball for each scheduled game.
- A "strike mat" will be used in all leagues provided by the Milford Recreation Department.
- Uniforms are recommended, not required.
- Teams provide their own equipment (bats, gloves, etc.) Metal cleats are not permitted in any league.

  • On days of inclement weather, a notification will be sent out only if there are changes to the schedule. All games are to be considered "on as scheduled."
  • All games are to be played as scheduled. In the event of a conflict please provide the League Director 24 hours advance notice any you will not be assessed the fee for your forfeit. Games will only be rescheduled for inclement weather or unplayable field conditions.
