The Milford Recreation Department is now offering 2020 Tennis & Pickleball Season Pass & Permits. This is a free program for any Milford resident over the age of 18. The tennis permit season runs from Saturday, May 23, 2020 and ends on Monday, October 12, 2020.A season pass holder may reserve two courts during the week and one for weekends by contacting Rich Minnix at the Recreation Department (203) 783-3387.  The maximum number of court reservations per week is three. If you cannot reach Rich Minnix, please contact the Milford Recreation Department main office at (203) 783-3280.All permits will be issued for 1-1/2 hours at all of our courts.    A season pass holder may reserve court time one week in advance. For example: at 8:00 AM on a Wednesday morning a court may be reserved through the following Tuesday night until 9:30 PM and any time in between. The same for Thursday AM through Wednesday PM etc. ALL PERMITS BECOME VOID IF YOU ARE NOT AT THE COURT 15 MINUTES AFTER THE START OF PERMITTED TIME!!!

This eight-week program is designed for home schooled children that gives them the opportunity to play some games and have fun.  Each week will consist of 45 minutes of fun structured games followed by 15 minutes of free play.This program is for children ages 5-12 and will take place every Wednesday afternoon from 2:30-4:00 PM at Fannie Beach.

Cardio Core Workout is a fun and invigorating mix of cardio, core and strength training exercises designed to burn calories, build muscle, tone and strengthen the midsection and sculpt the legs. This total body workout includes a balanced mix of aerobics, Pilates style abdominal and leg exercises that emphasis toning the core and lower body while using a stability ball. The strength training for firming arms and your upper body will use three-pound dumb bells and a five-pound weighted ball.

The Milford Recreation Department is now offering 2020 Tennis & Pickleball Season Pass & Permits. This is a free program for any Milford resident over the age of 18. The tennis permit season runs from Saturday, May 23, 2020 and ends on Monday, October 12, 2020.A season pass holder may reserve two courts during the week and one for weekends by contacting Rich Minnix at the Recreation Department (203) 783-3387.  The maximum number of court reservations per week is three. If you cannot reach Rich Minnix, please contact the Milford Recreation Department main office at (203) 783-3280.All permits will be issued for 1-1/2 hours at all of our courts.    A season pass holder may reserve court time one week in advance. This total body workout includes a balanced mix of aerobics, Pilates style abdominal and leg exercises that emphasis toning the core and lower body while using a stability ball. The strength training for firming arms and your upper body will use three-pound dumb bells and a five-pound weighted ball.

Have fun learning to play the keyboard.Both GROUP and PRIVATE lessons available. GROUP Lessons: Have fun learning to play keyboards. We'll cover all styles of music including classical, rock, jazz, and favorite holiday tunes. This group will even compose their own song. You must bring your own keyboard with batteries. Cardio Core Workout is a fun and invigorating mix of cardio, core and strength training exercises designed to burn calories, build muscle, tone and strengthen the midsection and sculpt the legs. This total body workout includes a balanced mix of aerobics, Pilates style abdominal and leg exercises that emphasis toning the core and lower body while using a stability ball. The strength training for firming arms and your upper body will use three-pound dumb bells and a five-pound weighted ball.

Cardio Core Workout is a fun and invigorating mix of cardio, core and strength training exercises designed to burn calories, build muscle, tone and strengthen the midsection and sculpt the legs. This total body workout includes a balanced mix of aerobics, Pilates style abdominal and leg exercises that emphasis toning the core and lower body while using a stability ball. The strength training for firming arms and your upper body will use three-pound dumb bells and a five-pound weighted ball.

The Tennis Lessons for Children will be held at Eisenhower Park and are instructed by Dave Kardas and his staff.Lessons available are for Pee Wee and Junior aged players between 3-5, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12 and 12-16 years of age. The classes are broken up in age groups and run between the hours of 4:30 pm to 6:45 pm on Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday afternoons.The Little Tennis Discovery class (age 3-5) will be introduced to tennis, participate in eye-hand excerise, learning forehand, backhand and volley as well as playing lots of fun games.The Red Rallyers class (4-6) will work on forehand, backhand and volley as well as learning to serve. Lots of fun games and learning to hit back and forth.The Orange Crush class (7-9) and Green Baseliners class (10-12) will participate in some drills, skill development and games/game situations to further develop skills for all levels. Singles and doubles points and serving.Finally, the Yellow Slicers (12-16) is open to teenagers who are interested in either learning tennis or improving their tennis game. There will be drills for forehand, backhand, volley and serve and lots of fun games.

Cardio Core Workout is a fun and invigorating mix of cardio, core and strength training exercises designed to burn calories, build muscle, tone and strengthen the midsection and sculpt the legs. This total body workout includes a balanced mix of aerobics, Pilates style abdominal and leg exercises that emphasis toning the core and lower body while using a stability ball. The strength training for firming arms and your upper body will use three-pound dumb bells and a five-pound weighted ball.

The Milford Recreation Department is now offering 2020 Tennis & Pickleball Season Pass & Permits. This is a free program for any Milford resident over the age of 18. The tennis permit season runs from Saturday, May 23, 2020 and ends on Monday, October 12, 2020.A season pass holder may reserve two courts during the week and one for weekends by contacting Rich Minnix at the Recreation Department (203) 783-3387.  The maximum number of court reservations per week is three. If you cannot reach Rich Minnix, please contact the Milford Recreation Department main office at (203) 783-3280.All permits will be issued for 1-1/2 hours at all of our courts.    A season pass holder may reserve court time one week in advance. For example: at 8:00 AM on a Wednesday morning a court may be reserved through the following Tuesday night until 9:30 PM and any time in between. The same for Thursday AM through Wednesday PM etc. ALL PERMITS BECOME VOID IF YOU ARE NOT AT THE COURT 15 MINUTES AFTER THE START OF PERMITTED TIME!!!
