Inclusive Park Designers: Summer Robotics Camp What if YOU could design a park where every child can play?In this hands-on robotics camp, students become engineers and designers on a mission to create an inclusive community park—one that is welcoming and accessible for children of all abilities.Working in teams of three, students will build and program LEGO® EV3 robots to solve real-world challenges inspired by modern playground design. Using our City Scape field, teams will test ideas like: How can we make playgrounds accessible for wheelchairs? How can technology help children with different sensory needs? How can we design safer, more welcoming public spaces? Throughout the week, students will: Build and program their own robot Complete daily engineering challenges Test and improve their designs on a real competition field Collaborate, problem-solve, and think like real engineers The week ends with a Final Design Challenge, where teams showcase their robot solutions and ideas for the ultimate inclusive park.No experience needed—just creativity, teamwork, and a willingness to try!Bring your own lunch, morning and afternoon snacks.Ages: 10-14Time: 9am - 4pm
