We will immerse campers in live birds on trails & the salt marsh, at the observatory & mounted specimens at the museum using a field guide.  We will also make a life size painting of their favorite bird on a piece of pine.  Bring a lunch.

It is a 5 day camp!

Bird Identification Camp General Information:
  • Instructor: Tim Chaucer
  • Tim Chaucer is celebrating 41 years teaching this program.
  • We will immerse campers in live birds on trails & the salt marsh, at the observatory & mounted specimens at the museum using a field guide.
  • We will also make a life-size paintings of their favorite birds on a piece of pine.
  • A fun instructional program.
  • It is a 5 day camp.
  • Please bring a nut-free lunch each day.
  • Age 11-16 can act as camper/counselor.
