Milford Recreation Department "Little Wing" Adaptive Ballet Theater Arts Company
This adaptive theater program is for those of all abilities interested in the arts and mentors of all ages. Participants will rotate through dance & movement/music each week. Professionals along with Mentors will teach & guide students to target skills needed in each discipline. This unique inclusion program is also designed to enhance socialization & build self-esteem in a caring fun atmosphere. The Winter Session will involve a performance, of the Nutcracker! Participants will perform an evening performance in December at 6:30PM located at the Parsons Government Center in Milford.
All Placement Must be approved before registration.

2020 Spring Adaptive Ballet
Session 1: February 18 - April 4, 2020
Session II: April 7 - May 16, 2020
Ballet 1: For those students that have developed basic ballet and basic movement skills. Focus on strength, technique, balance and concentration with barre and floor combinations.
Ballet 2 / Dance Moves: Explore all types of dance using ballet basics. Formulate dance routines using the whole body, method of movement while addressing sensory and natural talents of each dancer.
Ballet 3 / Movement: Basic ballet, developmental movement adapted for each student. Mentors or parents guide those of all abilities to the next skill and behavioral level ina fun social atmosphere.
